Join Us – Volunteers

Share your skills, gain new ones

Our Scout Group is entirely run by volunteers who want to make a positive contribution to their local community – could you join the team and make a difference too?

There are many ways you can help to run Scouting, everything from being an adult volunteer (18+) who helps to organise the activities, fundraises or provides other support, or for 14-18 year olds as a Young Leader working with one of the younger sections. Whether you want to make new friends, develop your skills, make a difference in the world or simply to have some fun, volunteering with us could be just what you’re looking for!

If you would like to volunteer with us in one of many roles, please fill out this form.  If you are aged 14 up to 18 years please select ‘Young Leader’ and consider joining our partnered Black Cats Explorer Scout Unit.  If you are aged 18+ plus select one or more of the adult volunteering roles you are interested in, or leave blank if you don’t know yet.

The data supplied using this form will only be used to facilitate your membership of Scouting, will not be passed to third parties, and will be deleted from this ‘Join Us’ system within one year of submission.

Please note: our 1st Kirkby Scout Group is based in Kirkby, Knowsley, Merseyside, and should not be confused with those in Kirkby in Ashfield, Kirkby Lonsdale, Kirkby Stephen, or any other Kirkby in the land!
