Local Councillors Steve Smith and Brian Johns have donated £500 to our Scout Group’s bursary scheme.
Our bursary scheme exists to help ensure all young people can get involved in Scouting, regardless of their circumstances, by providing financial support for membership donations, activities and camps,
Cllr Smith and Cllr Johns are borough councillors representing the Whitefield Ward of Kirkby on Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council. Cllr Smith helped us launch the bursary scheme through in donation in 2022.
Cllr Smith and Cllr Johns handed over the donation during a meeting of the Scout Troop to our Group Lead Volunteer, Derek, and Cub Leader, Lex.
